The standard time zone in Hong Kong is eight hours ahead of UTC (UTC+08:00).

Public Transportation

Hong Kong has a well-developed public transport network. Safety

The emergency number for the police, ambulance service, fire department and other emergency services is 999, available 24 hours a day.  For the speech or hearing impaired, a call for assistance may be made via SMS to 992.

Climate 

Hong Kong's climate is sub-tropical.  The annual mean temperature reached 24.5 degrees in 2023.  During November there are pleasant breezes, plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures.  The monthly mean temperature in November is around 23.5 degrees.
