TIME ZONE
Mongolia is located in Asia between the northern latitude 41°35'-52°09' and the eastern longitude 87°44'-119°56'. Standard time zone is UTC+08:00 which means the country’s central region is 8 hours ahead of the universal time zone. Whereas, some western provinces are on UTC+07:00 time zone.
ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE The standard electrical voltage in Mongolia is 220 volts AC and 50 Hz. Type A, C, E, F, and G plugs and sockets are used, but the majority of the electrical plugs have three-pronged plugs. |

CLIMATE
In June, the average daytime temperature is typically around +20°C, while nighttime temperatures can drop to between +5°C and +10°C. During the conference in June 2025, the forecast predicts daytime temperatures of approximately +21°C and nighttime lows of around +7°C. Given the potential for cooler nighttime temperatures, attendees are advised to pack warm clothing.
PAYMENT METHODS The official currency of Mongolia is Mongolian tugrug (MNT). In Ulaanbaatar, Master card, Visa, American Express, and even Apple pay can be used to make payments. Please note that some vendors may only receive payments in cash. |

RELIGION
Religion is allowed to be freely exercised in Mongolia. The majority of the population is Buddhist which follows the Gelug tradition. Still, there is a minority population which practices Mongolian shamanism, Christianity, and Islam.
SAFETY
Emergency numbers are 102 for police, 103 for ambulance, and 105 for fire, all available 24/7. For speech or hearing-impaired individuals, assistance is available via SMS to 105.
